Review of Zebula: A Family GetawayStaying at Zebula for a family vacation was our choice for its promise of outdoor enjoyment and a break from routine. House 167, our accommodation, provided us with the intriguing experience of waking up to the sight of indigenous wildlife right outside our window—an enchanting start to our days. While we appreciated the spacious living arrangements, our arrival was marred by a power outage, leaving us without lighting. This unfortunately led to a concerning incident with a toddler accessing the unguarded pool area in pitch darkness. Despite the panic, we swiftly resuscitated the child, and thankfully, she suffered no lasting harm. During the rest of our stay, we found the staff friendly and eager to assist with various activities, offering golf lessons and catering options for all dietary needs. Options for vegetarian meals could be expanded for diverse family preferences. The natural surroundings were a beautiful backdrop for relaxation and exploration, making our family outing memorable despite the challenges. We hope to return once further safety measures are implemented to ensure a more secure environment for families.
